A timeless classic
On a mid-summer morning the rain fell and the fog rolled in on our last day in Victoria at the Fairmont Empress. Before we went out into the town to wrap up our last bit of shopping for treasures to take home we had a cup of Liza Hill Darjeeling. There is a reason that the Darjeeling is sipped in every Hercule Poirot novel. Dear Watson must hide it from Sherlock and Elona keeps it her tasty little secret before she gads about town finding the fiend. This tea is a classic in the class of Houndstooth and Burberry. It must enjoyed with the respect it is due. A simple review of the Darjeeling is too rudimentary for this beautiful blend of romance and mystery found in a cup. I suggest a spot of milk and two sugars to sweeten your mood, but if you like black and moody Darjeeling will hold you coat and brolly for you.
