Story
We think these Obakki-sourced incense burners are the answer to all your incense needs - with a deep bowl that you can fill with sand or pebbles to create a heat resistant base and a high back wall that acts as a windbreak, these stunning pieces can do it all.
Purpose-led homewares brand Obakki's artisan partner, Made OF Australia, has created this signature series of functional stoneware ceramics - twice fired, once to full vitrification for durability and longevity, then again while sealed in special containers (called saggars) with native Australian flora and organics from indigenous fauna (organic materials like snakeskin, emu and crocodile eggshell, and goose feathers etc.). Once vapourised, the naturally occurring oxides and minerals released by the flames fuse with the surface of the clay, creating unique and unrepeatable patterns and markings on the surface of the clay...it's pure alchemy!
